The Stewardship of Love for Christ
Our Prayer

God our Father, in You justice and mercy meet.

With unparalleled love you have saved us from death and drawn us into the circle of your life. Open our eyes to the wonders this life sets before us, that we may see your hand at work in the splendor of creation, in the beauty of human life.

Touched by your hand in love, we open our hearts and financial resources to share in the ministry of our Christian Community and to experience the joy of life in your presence.

Lord, look down upon your people in their moments of need. Bring us to the dignity which distinguishes the poor in spirit and show us how great is the call to service, that we may share in the peace of Christ who offered His life in the service of all.

Bless, O Lord, the Stewardship Committee, the parishioner and each and everyone of us who are called to freely give as we have freely received from you.
We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

Everyone who is a baptized and confirmed Orthodox Christian is a member of the Orthodox Church and enjoys the Grace of God though the Holy Sacraments of the Church.

However, your Church depends on your financial support in order to physically exist and declare the Gospel of Salvation to the whole world, as the Lord commanded us (Matt. 28:19). Your stewardship with regard to this is very essential. We strongly encourage you to commit to your Church as much of your resources as possible, both in money as well as in time and your talents. If you can give of your time and talent, please offer it. If you are unable to offer your time and talent, please offer more of the money and other material blessings which God has given you.

Please fill out this application and return it to the Church Office as soon as possible with your total, or partial commitment for the New Year 2005 in order to help our Parish meet its financial expenditures. We will not be able to have a Church that we can be proud of unless we give generously with our heart to the work of God.

God will bless us many more times “for God loves a cheerful giver” (2Cor. 9:7)

"Honor the LORD with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce."
(Proverbs 3:9)

God blesses those who give generously to His work: "One man gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want." (Proverbs 11:24)
