Our
Local Chapter –
THE PHILOPTOCHOS SOCIETY of St. George
Our Local chapter of the Philoptochos
society is deeply involved in providing for those who seek the
assistance of the Church financially, both members of the Parish as
well as people from the local community. It has established a food
pantry and offers food to families in need. It has repeatedly come
to the aid of families and individuals who had faced a family or
personal disaster. Members of the Society visit on a regular basis
the shut-ins and those in the hospitals. They provide companionship
and share the bulletins and other news of the Parish with them.
