Our
First Annual Valentines' Day Dance which
was a knock-down, drag-out ball of fun, food, Greek dancing until all hours
of the night with chocolate fountain dipping, chocolate roses, sweet table
and never-ending music. This will undoubtedly be "THE EVENT" to go to
every year. This dance is not just for couples! Our club involves everyone,
married and single, and all events are geared to include everybody and
having a good time together, experiencing the friendship and fellowship of
other parish members, getting out of the house and up and doing things
together is the key to staying Young at Heart. Many thanks to Rita Kelly for
putting in MANY, MANY long hours of work on this dance and it showed in the
details and preparation of the hall which she transformed into a fantasy of
floating hearts and romantic surroundings. Brava and well done to Rita. Also
a huge amount of thanks has to go to everyone who participated in this
wonderful dinner dance volunteering your time and talents. A special bow and
many thanks to our chef, Andrea Costea, and his crew. Also, kudos to
D.J. Raw for keeping us up and dancing the night away. All proceeds
went to the "Burn the Mortgage" fund for the Church. |
